JOB SUMMARYThe Company Physician is responsible for providing medical services to employees, casino patrons and hotel guests. They assist in periodic assessment of workplace hazards and facilitate seminars as to the prevention of work-related injuries. This position is expected to spearhead the formulation of medical policies.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide direction to management on compliance to health-related policies under the Philippine law

Recommend policies and/or refinement on health-related matters to management

Oversee clinic operations for the delivery of basic medical services to employees and guests

Handle health and wellness programs and services

Responsible for the periodic health examination of employees

Implement health education and promote wellness initiatives in the workplace

Perform credential review of accredited service providers to ensure that quality services are rendered to employees

Conduct assessments of company health care service providers

Provide technical assistance on health-related matters to various units such as Pharmacy Services, Emergency Medical Services, Pre-employment Medical Examination and Environmental Health & SanitationSubmit periodic reports as may be required by the company for risk and audit compliance

Ensure that all staff are well-informed on health and safety policies and procedures and other company policies and regulations

Supervise Health Services Associate(s) in performing appropriate and timely interventions such as but not limited to basic physical exams, assessing patient and administering medication

Enforce discipline and proper behavioral traits to subordinates, maintaining a fair, consistent, and non-prejudicial approach

Monitor and provide feedback on performance of team members and conduct coaching/counseling

Assist in the recommendation of Health Services personnel for awards, promotion and disciplinary actions

Perform other related tasks and duties that may be assignedQUALIFICATIONSGraduate of Doctor of MedicineHolder of valid Professional Regulations Commission Physician LicenseRequired Certification: Basic Occupational Safety and Health, Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life SupportPossesses excellent communication skills

Has excellent clinical management skills

Able to cope with fast-paced and emotionally and physically demanding type of job

Compassionate, and a people-person
