Job Summary
We are looking for a Permit & Licensing Supervisor who will manage, process, and ensure compliance with all permits, licenses, and government registrations for the company and its franchise network. This role is essential in keeping our operations fully compliant with Philippine regulatory requirements, from SEC, DTI, BIR, and Mayor's Permits to building and occupancy clearances.
You will work closely with government agencies, local government units, and internal departments, ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong experience in government liaison work.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure, process, and renew all required government permits and licenses (SEC, DTI, BIR, Mayor's Permit, etc.)
- Monitor timelines and ensure on-time submission of all regulatory documents
- Liaise and maintain good relationships with LGUs, government agencies, and building officials
- Track franchisees' compliance with local and national regulations
- Prepare, update, and maintain permit processing logs and compliance reports
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather required documentation and information
- Oversee the approval process for building and occupancy permits
- Assist and guide franchisees with permit requirements during onboarding
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for all regulatory documents
- Provide regular updates to management on permit status and compliance issues
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Legal Management, or related field
Experience:
- At least 2–3 years of experience in permits and licensing, government liaison work, or regulatory compliance
- Proven experience dealing with SEC, DTI, BIR, LGUs, and other regulatory bodies
- Experience in franchise-related documentation is an advantage
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Philippine regulatory and compliance requirements for businesses
- Excellent organizational, record-keeping, and documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills when dealing with government officers and internal teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Effective time management skills; able to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiar with digital documentation systems
- Ability to interpret and implement compliance requirements
Character & Work Traits:
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional in handling confidential documents
- Proactive and resourceful in resolving delays and addressing permit issues
- Willing to travel or visit government offices as needed
- Can work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team
