Inbound Team Leader – Job Responsibilities

1. Daily Inbound Operations

Lead and supervise the inbound team for receiving, unloading, inspection, and put-away activities.

Ensure all inbound goods are checked accurately against delivery orders/invoices.

Monitor unloading and sorting activities to ensure efficiency and safety.

2. Quality & Accuracy Control

Perform or oversee quality checks on incoming goods (damage, quantity, specification).

Escalate any discrepancies or damaged goods to inventory or purchasing teams.

Ensure all inbound records are correctly updated in the WMS/ERP system.

3. Team Management

Assign daily tasks to inbound staff and monitor performance.

Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members.

Maintain discipline, teamwork, and good work habits among the staff.

4. Inventory & Put-Away

Ensure accurate put-away according to storage rules (FIFO/FEFO/Batch).

Confirm storage locations are updated in the system without errors.

Assist in stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.

5. Coordination with Other Departments

Work closely with purchasing, QC, planners, and warehouse supervisor/manager.

Communicate inbound issues, delays, or space constraints promptly.

6. Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure safe use of warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).

Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving and staging areas.

Enforce compliance with warehouse safety rules and SOP.

7. Reporting

Prepare daily inbound reports (receiving summary, discrepancy report, manpower usage).

Track inbound KPIs such as receiving accuracy, put-away lead time, and manpower productivity.

Inbound Team Leader – Job Requirements

1. Experience & Knowledge

Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse/inbound experience; team leader/supervisor experience is an advantage.

Good understanding of inbound processes: receiving, inspection, put-away, system updating.

2. Skills

• Able to lead a team and delegate tasks effectively.
• Basic computer literacy: Excel, WMS/ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills (English and/or local language).
• Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

3. Personal Qualities

• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Strong sense of urgency and good time management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset.
• Willing to work OT when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
