Job description:

SUMMARY: The Inventory Planner Assistant is responsible for monitoring all purchase orders created to ensure supplier receipt and processing according to designed requirements; and purchase order follow up.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verify that items on purchase orders are current and pricing is correct

  • Update PO information received from suppliers into software with accuracy

  • Respond to routine supplier inquiries

  • Communicate with employees and suppliers in a timely manner

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient level of knowledge of buying practices

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work on multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy

  • Proficient with applicable computer systems and software, MS Excel

  • Detail oriented, well organize
