JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the entire activities of quality assurance department and ensures implementation of quality standards, procedures, processes, and programs are efficient and accurate;
  • Responsible for ad hoc audit activities to ensure proper protocol are performed and observed specifically on product process, environment, sanitation, quality assurance, housekeeping, health, and safety procedures and hazards;
  • Supervises product testing, product analysis, product safety and sanitation, product date coding and ensures accuracy, completeness, and consistency are maintained;
  • Coordinates closely with other departments to ensure personnel safety guidelines, quality and food safety practices are strictly followed and observed;
  • Responsible for resolving quality problems, plant facilities, warehouse, employees issues and concerns and recommends corrective action plans;
  • Checks and ensures all products produced are compliance with standard quality and product process are consistently meets all regulatory quality standards;
  • Monitors in – line processes and ensures compliance in standard specifications;
  • Prepares documentation, reports, and presentations on quality assurance and ensures submission are on time and assists in documentation control and recommends strategies for improvement;
  • Handles records and monitors customer complaints, queries, and compliments regarding product performance, specifications, cost, and reliability for product innovation to meet customer requirements and specifications;
  • Participates in investigation regarding customer complaints, reject product incidents and recommends timely resolution to minimize such activities.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Must be a graduate of food technology
  • Preferably with at least two (2) years' experience as a quality assurance supervisor in a manufacturing or food industry or equivalent professional practice;
  • Proficient in basic computer programs (word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software and internet navigation and email).
  • Can start ASAP
