Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle litigation cases, including internal and external cases.
  • Ensures effective and efficient legal processes as required by Court proceedings and identify/ monitor/ provide action plans on how to address such issues.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials, etc.), such as replevin cases, deficiency claim cases.
  • Coordinates with External Counsels on assigned legal cases and monitors performance of External Counsel.
  • Review contracts and legal documents; render legal opinion and draft documents.
  • Assist and monitors past due accounts handled by External Collection Agencies and manage the performance of outsource agencies.
  • Ensures requirements are properly submitted by all Contracting Parties covering Collection and Legal; ensures compliance with existing SLAs, Contracts.
  • Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks, includes but not limited to compliance, Anti-Money Laundering/ countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT)
  • Attend weekly progress reporting and monthly review: The Consultant is required to attend weekly meetings to report on the current collection recovery progress, specifically detailing any variances from the established monthly targets
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of relevant work experience performing the functions stated above.
  • At least three (3) years of experience handling legal and collection-related cases, including but not limited to estafa, replevin, mortgage, BP 22, sum of money, and other collection-related cases.
  • 6 months contract (with potential for renewal or regularization, subject to performance evaluation)

Working Hours/Schedule: On-site

  • Monday - Friday (8:30 am - 5:30 am)
