  • Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in PV modules, inverters, combiner boxes, and other electrical components.
  • Monitor system performance through SCADA or solar monitoring platforms, and respond to alarms or performance drops.
  • Conduct thermal imaging, I-V curve testing, and insulation resistance tests to assess component health.
  • Maintain and update maintenance logs, test reports, and O&M documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors and equipment suppliers for warranty claims and spare part replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and local electrical codes during maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support during plant outages, upgrades, and performance optimization tasks.
  • Support the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for solar O&M.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in solar PV system maintenance or electrical system servicing.
  • Strong understanding of PV system architecture, inverters, and BOS (Balance of System) components.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools, electrical testing equipment (multimeter, insulation tester, thermal camera, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) or Registered Master Electrician (RME) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and perform physical inspections.
