About the role

Join Sungrow Smart Maintenance (Philippines) Technology Inc. as a full-time Plant Manager of a Photovoltaic Power Station. Based in Bugallon, Pangasinan you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a solar power plant, ensuring maximum efficiency and performance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate all site activities, including maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of the solar power plant
  2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to optimise system performance and extend equipment lifespan
  3. Monitor and analyse system performance data to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies
  4. Liaise with the engineering and technical teams to coordinate upgrades, improvements, and expansions
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  6. Manage and supervise the site team, providing training and development opportunities
  7. Prepare detailed reports on the plant's performance and maintenance activities

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (5+ years) in the operation and maintenance of large-scale solar power plants or other renewable energy facilities
  • Proven track record of effectively managing site teams and coordinating complex maintenance activities
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar power system components, including inverters, transformers, and solar panels
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and performance data
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the power generation industry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
