Sungrow Smart Maintenance (Philippines) Technology Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer/Master Electrician to join our team and play a crucial role in the operation and upkeep of our state-of-the-art photovoltaic power plant located in Bugallon Pangasinan. As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our plant's electrical and electronic systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and electronic equipment, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and other critical components
  • Conducting regular inspections and implementing preventive maintenance measures to minimise downtime and maximise system reliability
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex electrical and electronic issues in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted power generation
  • Collaborating with the wider operations team to optimise the overall performance of the photovoltaic power plant
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
  • Documenting maintenance activities and providing detailed reports to the management team
  • Participating in continuous learning and professional development initiatives to stay up-to-date with industry advancements

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Master Electrician, preferably in the renewable energy or power generation industry
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical and electronic systems, including experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of power plant equipment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the power industry
  • Effective communication and reporting skills
  • Must have a PRC Licensed
