Job Summary

The Junior Internal Auditor plays an important role in assessing and improving the company's internal controls, risk management, and compliance processes. This position helps ensure that business operations align with company goals and policies while promoting efficiency and accountability across departments.

This is a fresh graduate–friendly opportunity, offering hands-on training and professional development in internal audit, financial review, and business process evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the annual audit plan using a risk-based approach.
  • Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Identify potential risks, control weaknesses, and areas for process improvement.
  • Support investigations of irregularities or suspected fraud and provide reports to the Managing Director.
  • Prepare clear and well-documented audit reports with recommendations for management action.
  • Monitor and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure audit work complies with Internal Audit Standards and the Code of Ethics set by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
  • Participate in special audits or projects assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, or other related business courses.
  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • CPA license is an advantage but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of auditing principles, internal controls, and compliance frameworks is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prepare organized and concise reports.
  • Proactive learner, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally in the audit field.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Bagumbayan, Quezon City (near Eastwood).

About the Role

This position is part of the company's Internal Audit Department, an independent appraisal function that provides objective assurance and consulting services to strengthen operations.

The department's key objectives include:

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Providing insightful recommendations to management to improve operational efficiency and accountability.
  • Conducting special audits as assigned by leadership to address emerging risks or concerns.
