
Tele Collections Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY
The Tele Collections Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and driving a team of Tele Collections Associates, securing its productivity and performance through implementations of strategies, policies, and procedures, analyzing trends and market practices for innovative practices beneficial to their team, and mentoring each team member for improving in dealing with client accounts, through regular coaching.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieves the collection targets and goals set by the Collection Manager.
- Implement as well as assisting the Tele Collection Manager in formulating tele collection strategies and initiatives according to the company's business strategies and direction to enhance collection productivity, reduce cost, and minimize operational risk.
- Secures the team's performance by implementing the collection strategies, policies, and procedures as needed.
- Secures team's collection activities as being carried out in compliance with Company's set best practices, standards, and guidelines.
- Monitors and analyzes team's performance and trends to determine points of improvement.
- Endorses new tools or technology to improve collection effectiveness.
- Reports religiously on overall team productivity and KPI attainments for reference of the Tele Collection Manager
- Coordinates with the Tele Collection Manager in determining new strategies, procedures, or policies for improving the section's performance.
- Coordinates with other section and department heads of the Company as necessary to streamline and improve tele collection operations
- Assists the Tele Collection Manager in screening interviews of potential candidates for the section.
- Performs other assigned tasks from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- A College graduate of Business, Finance, Accounting or a related course provided that the candidate has the required relevant work experience indicated and with the approval of the hiring manager and department head.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in financial institutions, particularly in Collection, Banking, or a related field.
- At least 2 years relevant experience of managing/supervising a team.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills for giving/receiving information and interacting with clients/employees.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be very detail-oriented so as to avoid the possibility of serious errors and loss.
- Proficient in MS Office/Google Documents, Excel/Google Sheets, and Powerpoint/Google Slides.
- Excellent analytical and judgement/problem-solving skills.
