Job Description
The
Associate Director of Technical Learning & Development (L&D)
plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs to support HC Global's strategic objectives. This individual leads the entire Technical L&D team, collaborating across departments to drive a culture of continuous learning and align programs with business goals.
Responsibilities
As Associate Director, you will be responsible for such duties and responsibilities that are normally associated with your position, which include, but are not limited to the activities enumerated below:
Leadership and Strategy
Ø Develops and executes the long-term strategy for technical learning aligned with HC Global's strategic goals;
Ø Inspires, guides, and develops the Technical L&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence;
Ø Collaborates with HR and department leaders to address training needs and evolve learning initiatives as the business grows.
Ø Manage all Technical L&D team members from each department;
Program Design and Execution
Ø Designs and delivers technical training programs that integrate advanced learning methodologies, incorporating insights from fund administration and cross-department functions;
Ø Consolidates all technical training initiatives into a cohesive program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and KPIs;
Ø Implements modern learning tools and technologies, including AI-driven platforms and multimedia content.
Stakeholder Engagement
Ø Conducts regular one-on-one meetings with departmental L&D representatives to gather feedback, address challenges, and identify growth opportunities;
Ø Collects learner feedback to continually enhance training materials and delivery methods;
Ø Act as a liaison between L&D and department heads to ensure the training strategy supports overall business priorities.
Performance Measurement
Ø Analyzes training data and metrics to assess program effectiveness, making data-driven improvements to maximize impact;
Ø Reports on training outcomes, highlighting alignment with firm goals and employee career development.
In addition to the above functions, you may also be expected, from time to time, to assist in other non-operations work, as the need arises, and as determined by the Associate Directors, Directors, Executive Directors, and Managing Directors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years in fund accounting, fund administration, or a related field;
- At least 1 year in a leadership role with exposure to business concepts and strategic planning;
- Proven expertise in designing and managing L&D programs at a leading organization, with exposure to diverse methods and technologies;
- Strategic thinking and adaptability to evolving business needs;
- Strong knowledge of fund administration processes and interdepartmental workflows;
- Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities;
- Advanced understanding of LMS, e-learning platforms, and AI training tools;
- Proficiency in data analysis to optimize learning initiatives;
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
