Responsible for processing employees' payroll including but not limited to collecting, reviewing, timekeeping attendance and calculate wages as well in managing company payroll budget expense and timekeeping performance of an employee.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Degree in a program of study related to Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration, Associate's Degree or a combination of education and experience

  2. At least 3 years experience in areas of Human Resources, Payroll preparation, & other HR-related functions.

  3. Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role (manual and system)

  4. Knowledge and/or Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software

  5. Working knowledge of accounting principles and payroll practices

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  1. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel )

  2. Can work with limited supervision and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  3. Strong analytical and planning skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Reviews and validates employees Daily Time Record (DTR).

  2. Prepares and process of employees' compensation bi–monthly.

  3. Ensures correctness of payroll computation including deductions.

  4. Prepares discrepancy reports.

  5. Ensures timely processing of payroll.

  6. Answers payroll-related employee concerns and disputes.

  7. Checks DOLE and NWPC announcements and directives on employee statutory benefits.

  8. Assists Comp & Ben of any benefits related activities.
