  • JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The General Maintenance working is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of the company's facilities and equipment. This includes performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on buildings, machinery, and other essential infrastructures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform routine building and facility inspections to identify any necessary repairs.

· Conduct preventive maintenance in equipment, machinery, and facilities.

· Handle general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as needed.

· Clean and maintain maintenance tools and equipment.

· Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while performing maintenance tasks.

· Maintain records of all maintenance work performed and materials used.

· Assist in the set-up and relocation of office furniture and equipment when needed.

· Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies for maintenance operations.

JOB REQUIREMENT:


• Proven experience in general maintenance role or a similar position.


• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and etc.


• Ability to use hand and power tools safety and effectively.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.


• Strong communication skills to coordinate with other staff and supervisors.

QUALIFICATION:


• High school graduate or with a vocational/technical course


• Preferably with 1 year experience in a general maintenance position or similar role.


• Basic knowledge in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.


• Physically fit; able to lift, move, and organize materials


• Good organizational and time management skills


• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation


• Able to work independently and as part of a team


• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, or weekends if needed


• Knowledge of safety procedures and proper maintenance handling
