Mechanic is responsible to all mechanical inspection of all light and heavy vehicles to avoid problems that might delay delivery operations and affect company customers. Estimate the cost and time for each vehicle repair and conduct repair to all trucks. Maintain all equipment and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Vocational graduate
  • Excellent knowledge of motor technology
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent practical skills
  • Ability to solve problems and concentrate for a long period of time
  • Has good attention to details

Responsibilities:

MECHANICAL INSPECTION

● Conduct routine maintenance work such as fluid replacing and oils to aim vehicle utmost

functionality and longevity.

● Identify mechanical faults in a vehicle's brakes, engine, gears, and electric.

● Schedule regular maintenance sessions.

● Perform other supportive tasks as needed by the team.

VEHICLE REPAIR

● Provide accurate estimates on cost and time for a vehicle repair.

● Repair vehicles which have been broken down.

● Rebuild vehicle engine and gearboxes.

TOOLS & ASSET MANAGEMENT

● Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.

● Maintain a motor pool and working area clean and safe.
