General Responsibilities

  • This opening is specific to the retail app product for PDAX.
  • Be an expert on the crypto exchange market, user behavior, and the product's positioning versus competitors.
  • Own the end-to-end user journey across the exchange platform (onboarding, funding, trading, portfolio, and withdrawals) with a strong focus on driving growth (acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization).
  • Ideate features, identify user and business problems, and design experiments to help the product meet company and business-unit goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to exchange ideas, gather requirements, and ensure alignment (e.g., compliance, operations, CX, engineering, design, and commercial teams).
  • Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide design and engineering teams during development.
  • Join Scrum events (backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
  • Manage the product backlog on Jira, ensuring that priorities are clear, transparent, and aligned with OKRs.
  • Monitor product and growth performance, analyze data, and provide insights to guide decision-making (e.g., funnel conversion, retention, engagement, trading volume, and revenue).
  • Design and run A/B tests and experiments to optimize key metrics across the user journey.
  • Plan, create, and maintain product documentation, including PRDs, FAQs and User Guides, and internal playbooks when needed.
  • Own the product roadmap and clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, and changes to stakeholders; manage expectations across squads.
  • Be the primary point of contact for the retail app and its growth initiatives, providing necessary training and alignment to other departments/colleagues.
  • Track metrics and overall success of the app, and propose action plans based on performance.
  • Ensure that regulatory, security, and risk considerations are incorporated into product design and execution.

Qualifications

Skills

  • Leadership and People Management Skills.
  • Confident in verbal and written communication; able to present complex ideas in a clear and structured way.
  • Shows empathy for user problems and can balance user needs with business and regulatory constraints.
  • Knowledge of Product Management techniques, such as Problem Discovery, Road Mapping, User Story writing, Prioritizing, and Data Analysis and Funnel Optimization.
  • Comfortable working with product analytics tools and event tracking to derive insights and measure impact.
  • Strong understanding of business models, unit economics, and revenue streams, especially within fintech/crypto or trading products.
  • Ability to think strategically about growth levers across the lifecycle (acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, reactivation).

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3 years working on consumer-facing digital products.
  • Experience working in the fintech, crypto, or trading platforms is preferred.
  • Experienced in Agile Development Process and familiar with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional development teams.
  • Familiarity with Cryptocurrency, Web3, and TradFi ecosystems and trends; keeps up-to-date with market developments and regulatory changes.
