Job Overview

As a Senior Pega Developer joining our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development and optimization of comple Pega applications. Building upon your etensive e

• perience, you will lead the implementation of sophisticated workflows, ensuring the scalability, performance and adherence to best practices.
  You will be a member of the Pega Manila Center of E- cellence (CoE), which caters to various business domains such as Wholesale Banking, Retail, and many more. The Pega CoE provides high-quality, scalable Pega solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across these diverse business areas.
  In this role, you will work in a squad alongside your Product Owner (PO), Squad Lead and Junior Developer/s, contributing to strategic decision-making processes, and mentoring junior developers. You will collaborate closely with Customer Journey E- perts (CJE), and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the applications meet business needs. Your direct line of reporting will be to your Chapter Lead, who will guide your development and ensure alignment with overall team goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain Pega applications, focusing on creating robust workflows, user interfaces, and business logic.
• Feature Ownership: Independently manage components of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
• Optimization: Optimize Pega applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability, applying best practices and industry standards.
  Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve comple- technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Journey E- perts (CJEs), Architects, and other stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective Pega solutions.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.

Key Capabilities/Eperience

Proven e

• perience with Pega development, with a solid understanding of Pega rules, classes, flows, and data structures.
  E- perience with designing and implementing Pega Case Types
• Knowledge of Pega integration techniques
• Understanding of Pega case management and workflow principles
  E- perienced in Agile / Scrum / DevOps projects
• Have great analytical skills and have a conceptual / architectural understanding
  Eperienced working in a comple- , regulated environment such as a large financial institution

Minimum Qualifications

3-5 years of hands-on e

• perience in Pega Development
• Pega Certification: Certified System Architect (CSA) / Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) – preferred but not mandatory
• Fluent in English speaking and writing and a good communicator in general
• Able to bring all ideas/opinions to one conclusion to help make decisions.
• Up to date with new Technology and have a deep understanding of when to use it
• Humble in approach and not afraid to be wrong
