Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist with strong knowledge of spend-management platforms and at least a year of experience with financial/accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other spend-management tools. This role supports our client in managing corporate expenses, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate reporting of financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, reconcile, and validate employee transactions, receipts, and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment of Ramp data with accounting records.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing by providing accurate expense data and reports.
  • Support system integrations (Ramp with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP platforms).
  • Troubleshoot user issues and provide basic guidance/training to employees on Ramp usage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of direct experience with Ramp; or 2+ years of experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and expense reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Workspace tools.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
