Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The General Accountant will handle a variety of accounting tasks including ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations for month-end and year-end closing.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain and organize financial records for internal and external audits.
  • Support tax preparation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in a similar industry or with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
