Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of the applications.
  • Design and implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design mockups into functional applications.
  • Build scalable and robust server-side applications using languages such as Python, Java, , or others.
  • Design and implement database schemas, ensuring data integrity and efficient query performance.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues promptly.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, updates, and patches to ensure the ongoing stability of deployed applications.
  • Other related tasks assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Proficient in with NestJS and Java (preferably Java 21) with Spring Boot — must be comfortable using both.
  • Strong skills in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
  • Experience implementing WebSockets for real-time communication.
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL, using TypeORM (NestJS) and JPA/Hibernate (Spring Boot).
  • Familiar with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
  • Experience using Redis for caching, pub/sub, or session management.
  • Hands-on experience with gRPC and writing .proto files.
  • Strong understanding of Apache Kafka for distributed messaging and event-driven architecture.
  • Comfortable working in Linux/Ubuntu environments, with scripting and server management.
  • Skilled in using SSH for secure remote access and server configuration.
  • Proficient in Git, including experience with GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code review workflows.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and backend deployment processes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, PM2, Nginx, and server performance tuning.
  • Skilled in using API testing tools such as Insomnia.
  • Familiarity with automated testing using Jest, JUnit, Mocha, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and maintaining microservices architectures using both NestJS and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with event-driven systems using Kafka, MQTT, or similar brokers.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining backend systems on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices related to backend services, API protection, and server access.
  • Background in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or factory automation is a strong plus.
