Station Structure Engineer

Tasks and Responsibilities Required for the Position:

  1. Review received documents and provided inputs, particularly Architectural Shop drawings, Request for information Queries, Architectural Material for Approval including supplier's consent, Method of Statement etc.

  2. Initiate weekly meetings with the contractor to discuss issues regarding Architectural works, attended site works particularly mockup, pre-Architectural installation approval etc.

  3. Supervised drawing production, check and provide inputs with regards to design changes.

  4. Interact with PMO and other stakeholder with regards to design clarification, local and international standards procedures.

  5. Review and provide inputs with regards to contractors submitted variation order, value engineering and other commercial aspects related to Architectural works.

Specific/special Qualifications Required for the Position, if any:

  1. A bachelor's degree in engineering or Structural Engineering.

  2. Significant years of experience (e.g., 8-15 years) in structural/rail/large infrastructure projects, specifically stations/viaducts/tunnels.

  3. Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (architects, MEP engineers, contractors, clients).

  4. Proven track record with station structural works, including elevated, at-grade, and underground station structures.

  5. Ability to produce or review structural design drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, inspection/test plans.

  6. Familiarity with construction methods for stations and associated infrastructure.

  7. Fluent English and familiar with MS Word, Excel etc.
