DUTIES:

  • Receives payments from payer and records amount received.
  • Receives payments in full or in partial from payer by cash and issues receipt for amount received.
  • Attaches copy of receipt to payee card or files.
  • Keeps all receipts whose accounts have been paid in full.
  • Signs receipts whose accounts have been paid in full.
  • Prepares reports of daily transactions and forwards cash receipts and other records to Accounting Section.
  • Balances cashiers cash on daily basis and prepares daily bank deposits.
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as may deem necessary by the immediate superior.
