Training Associate
The Training and Development Associate is primarily responsible for the provision of technical and administrative services on organizational development concerns such as training, development and education, and career planning and management for each employee.
Specific Accountabilities
- Receives and responds to employee inquiries related to training and development;
- consolidates training and development requirements of employees and faculty members from the training needs analysis, performance appraisal reports, and other source of documents and recommends corresponding responsive training and development programs based on the LIP Track schedule for all employees;
- Collates projected training expense and request for operational budget;
- Coordinates the invitation of external facilitators/resource person for the delivery of the training and development programs;
- Assists in the development of training programs content and support materials such as participant's manuals, participant's handouts, creation of MOODLE courses and audio-visual instructional aids for use during the delivery of the program;
- Undertakes program administration through coordination and provision of logistical requirements relating to venue, meals and snacks, materials, equipment and the like;
- Handles communication and course requirement to and from the participants and the resource person;
- Ensures complete records of the training profile of all employees;
- Prepares for after event (post-training report, evaluation summary) and financial report for each program run.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of bachelor's degree in education, psychology or related behavioral sciences, business, communications or any related field of discipline
- With experience in training and development is an advantage
- With excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Must be of good moral character
- Proficient in computer applications
