Job Title: Export Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Export Supervisor oversees and coordinates the export operations of a company to ensure compliance with international trade regulations, timely delivery of goods, and efficient logistics handling. This role is responsible for managing documentation, liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers, supervising export staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service and operational accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily export operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipments of goods to international destinations.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations, company policies, and export laws
  • Oversee preparation and verification of export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth and compliant transportation of goods.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues such as delays, documentation discrepancies, or damages.
  • Maintain and update export records in line with audit and legal requirements.
  • Train, guide, and supervise export staff, evaluating performance and ensuring adherence to procedures.
  • Evaluate and implement cost-saving opportunities within the shipping and logistics process.
  • Identify and report any risk factors related to trade compliance or operational issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in export operations or international logistics, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of export regulations, documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Tagalog and English; additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of trade agreements, tariffs, and Incoterms.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding processes and logistics software
  • Experience with hazardous goods or regulated products is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional visits to warehouse/shipping facilities.
  • May require communication across time zones with overseas customers, suppliers, and agents.
