Application Processing Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Application Processing Officer to lead our growth initiatives within the government, embassy, and diplomatic sectors. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing B2B opportunities for our service-provider offerings, including document processing, visa and consular support, and embassy liaison services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and close B2B sales opportunities for our service-provider offerings (e.g., document processing, visa/consular support, embassy liaison services).
- Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers in government agencies, embassies and diplomatic missions.
- Leverage an existing network within embassies and government agencies to open new accounts and markets.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, contract signing and account hand-off to delivery teams.
- Work closely with legal/document-processing teams to ensure service delivery, compliance and quality in interaction with government agencies and embassies.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and diplomatic/consular requirements that impact our services;
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, embassy trade/membership forums or government procurement forums.
- Collaborate with internal teams (service operations, legal, marketing) to tailor offerings that meet government/embassy needs and to develop service value propositions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, manage account growth and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities with existing government/embassy clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years of sales/business development experience in a service provider industry (e.g., outsourcing, consular services, document management, government services).
- Proven B2B sales track record, particularly selling services to institutions or government entities.
- Demonstrated network of contacts within government agencies and/or embassies/diplomatic missions.
- Direct experience working with government agencies or embassies in the capacity of processing legal or consular documents (e.g., visa services, apostille, notarial services, embassy liaison).
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills; ability to operate at senior stakeholder level.
- Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, with the ability to craft compelling value propositions for government/embassy clients.
- Familiar with procurement, compliance and regulatory aspects relevant to government or diplomatic services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, Law or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral); strong command of English (and any additional language relevant to embassies/diplomatic network is a plus).
- Self-motivated, target-driven, with ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel as needed for embassy/government visits, networking events and client meetings.
