Job Description

Be part of our client's team as a Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist, ensuring that every release, workflow, and cloud infrastructure enhancement meets the highest standards of security and compliance. You'll lead audits, fortify governance practices, assess vendor risks, and translate regulations into actionable controls-strengthening trust and operational stability across a global, high-velocity media platform.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 5+ years' experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management within technology-driven environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related security practices
  • Working knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or similar compliance frameworks
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable policies and controls
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable, with strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Excellent English communication skills; must be Manila-based and able to visit the office weekly
  • Reliable 50+ Mbps home internet and willingness to adjust schedule when needed

Your Daily Tasks

  • Manage and complete client and partner security questionnaires, maintaining an organized response repository
  • Coordinate audit readiness efforts for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related frameworks
  • Translate GDPR, CCPA, ISO, NIST, and other standards into internal policies and controls
  • Develop and refine governance documentation aligned with engineering and cloud practices
  • Automate evidence collection and reporting using tools like Vanta or Drata
  • Conduct third-party vendor risk assessments with Legal, Security, and Engineering teams
  • Lead internal compliance awareness programs and training initiatives
