Europlan Group is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Administrator to provide day-to-day IT support and lead the optimisation of our digital tools and systems. Based in Manila, the successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in the Philippines, Ireland, and the UK, ensuring seamless IT operations across time zones.

This role combines hands-on user support with strategic involvement in enhancing, integrating, and maintaining the software ecosystem across business functions including Engineering, Accounting, HR, and Programme Management.

The IT Administrator will also maintain the company intranet and ensure systems are secure, scalable, and optimised to support operational efficiency and collaboration across the group.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Maintenance

  • Provide remote IT support to employees in the Philippines, Ireland, and the UK.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across locations.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and cyber-security protocols are adhered to.
  • Experience with designing and managing a company website.

Systems Integration & Optimisation

  • Review and optimise the current software ecosystem (Engineering, Accounting, HR, etc.).
  • Lead projects to integrate existing tools for improved efficiency and data flow.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digital process improvement.
  • Support implementation of new software solutions and liaise with vendors as needed.

Intranet & Collaboration Tools

  • Maintain and update the company intranet as a central hub for communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor and improve collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint) to enhance productivity.

IT Governance & Security

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR and other applicable standards).
  • Conduct regular system reviews and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Keep documentation of IT policies, procedures, and systems up to date.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to support remote teams across multiple countries.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to map processes and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Project management skills to deliver IT initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Awareness of IT security standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT support or systems administration role.
  • Experience working with enterprise software across business functions (ERP, HRIS, Accounting, Engineering design tools).
  • Hands-on experience with network administration and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Familiarity with intranet/content management systems.
  • Experience in process automation and systems integration projects desirable.
  • Experience supporting international teams across time zones is a plus.
  • Ability to work on own and to be continuously looking to improve current systems.
