Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical
Senior Finance & Strategy Analyst
to join our Finance Shared Services (FSS) team in Manila, Philippines. This senior role is critical for the transition and stabilization of core Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions. The ideal candidate possesses a robust background in financial modeling, advanced forecasting, strategic budgeting, and providing impactful financial commentary to senior stakeholders. This role requires an individual who can not only execute but also lead process improvements and act as a key liaison across global functions.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting directly to the Finance & Strategy Senior Manager within Finance Shared Services, this role involves high-level analysis and business partnering to drive financial performance and strategic alignment.
- Advanced Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Apply in-depth financial knowledge to maintain and refine complex financial models and detailed forecasts of the company's operational and strategic performance.
- Strategic Budget Ownership & Approval: Take ownership of the budget review process and manage purchase request approvals for assigned functional groups. Ensure accurate and timely reflection of approved Headcount in key systems (e.g., Workday and Adaptive).
- Executive Reporting & Commentary: Prepare and interpret high-level internal and external financial reports, including comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses, and provide detailed commentary to executive leadership to support critical decision-making.
- Process Optimization & Project Leadership: Identify, propose, and help implement opportunities for continuous improvement within financial reporting and FP&A processes, including leading and coordinating global finance projects and developing process documentation (e.g., Playbooks).
- Cost Efficiency Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations and examinations of departmental cost-efficiency, analyzing financial resource consumption against strategic value to identify and drive value engineering opportunities.
- Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management: Act as a key financial partner, routinely interacting with the Finance Organization, Operations, and functional peer group managers to align financial plans and resolve complex matters across different business units.
- Consolidated Budget Coordination: Coordinate actively with various departments globally in preparing their individual operating budgets and play a central role in the consolidation of the overall corporate budget.
What You Bring To The Role
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field.
- Professional Experience: At least 4-6 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Technical Accounting Acumen: Thorough understanding of financial and accounting principles necessary to analyze and interpret comprehensive financial reports and maintain accuracy in financial models.
- Advanced Spreadsheet Proficiency: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (e.g., sophisticated formulas, data consolidation, Pivot Tables, and scenario analysis).
- Global Collaboration: Willingness and ability to work a night and/or shifting schedule is required to effectively support global business requirements and stakeholders across different time zones (e.g., North American Central Time).
- Independence and Ownership: Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of projects and work independently, delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for executive presentations, combined with demonstrated teamwork orientation and the potential or experience in guiding junior team members.
Preferred Skills
- Industry Experience: Direct experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) company, a Business Partnering Finance model, or a Global Finance Shared Services Center (SSC).
- System Expertise: Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive, Allocadia, and Coupa is a significant advantage.
- Agility: Proven ability to thrive where change is constant, possessing strong multitasking skills and the flexibility required to rapidly alternate between projects and priorities.
Hybrid:
In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
