Power Platform Developer

Key Accountabilities

Specific Duties

· Assist in the development and maintenance of business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.

· Support integrations between Power Platform solutions and Microsoft 365, Azure services, and approved third-party systems.

· Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation for applications, workflows, and integrations.

· Provide support to business users and citizen developers, following established governance and security standards.

· Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and project meetings, providing progress updates to the Senior Developer.

· Assist with functional testing and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

· Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor enhancements to existing solutions.

· Continuously upskill in the Power Platform ecosystem and stay informed on new platform capabilities and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

· At least 3 years' experience developing or supporting solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

· Understanding of Dataverse, including tables, forms, views, and relationships.

· Programming experience with Power Fx, JavaScript, C# and Scripting · Knowledge/Experience developing custom code, plug-ins, and workflows

· Familiarity with integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)

· Exposure to Azure DevOps or other source control tools, deployments of solutions using CI/CD pipeline

· Experience working with custom connectors, and integration with external systems

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

· Willingness to learn and follow guidance from senior developers

Preferred

· Exposure to Custom pages, PCF Components, and Power Pages

· Exposure to Azure services to support integrations

· Candidate with Power Platform Certification (PL-200, PL-400)

· Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated industry experience · Knowledge of SQL and other databases and technologies

· Exposure to the mining industry and the processes
