The RoleMerchandising Strategy and Execution

  • Implement merchandising plans that align with company goals and customer preferences.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of promotional displays, seasonal setups, and in-store marketing campaigns.

Inventory Management

  • Collaborate with inventory teams to maintain stock levels and ensure the availability of key products.
  • Analyze sales data and identify trends to guide inventory adjustments and replenishment.
  • Manage markdowns and clearance strategies to minimize shrinkage and maximize profitability.

Sales Support

  • Work closely with store operations to identify opportunities to boost sales through effective merchandising.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure product information and pricing are accurate and updated.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Coordinate with the team to manage product launches and new arrivals.
  • Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer preferences and sales performance.
  • Maintain clear communication with store staff and management to align goals and expectations.

Ideal ProfileYou have at least 2 years experience ideally as a Buying / Procurement or Inventory Manager within Apparel & Sporting Goods. You possess excellent negotiating skills with a strong ability to influence people of all levels. You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders

You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data

You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
