Mission
  • Create OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM model for BIM deliverables i.e., coordination, 4D simulation, asset tagging.
  • Extract 2D documentation from the BIM Model for Visualization.
  • Collaborating with other members of the design and construction team. Utilizing the models to detect and resolve disputes or concerns throughout the design phase.
Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to the following:

  • Model elements creation within the OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM (OCS) shall in accordance with the intent/ approved materials/ equipment's for the project
  • Prepare the view template/ sheet view for the BIM model.

  • 3D model development of OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM (OCS) model shall in accordance with the design development and to meet the LOD specification.

  • Maintain all the sub-system model shall be reference to the correct georeferencing or project coordinate system.

  • Perform interference check within OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM (OCS) model. prior submit to MVDE BIM Coordinator to review

  • Sharing the latest model to TRW & OCS BIM Coordinator to prepare the coordination Model.

  • Coordinate with the TRW & OCS BIM Coordinator to resolve the system model issues.

  • To follow the schedule and due dates for BIM deliverables set by Subsystem Manager/ engineer and review by BIM Manager

  • Maintain the quality of the OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM (OCS) model (LoG – Level of Geometry & LoI – Level of Information)

  • Ensure zero clash with its own Subsystem model and prevent clashes with other System.
  • Integrates the asset information into OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM (OCS) model, the asset information shall comply with the Asset Requirement from the client.
  • Updates of "as-constructed" condition in the final System model deliverables, including the validation by the Civil Contractor at the end of the construction work before the handover
  • Extract COBie spreadsheet from OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM (OCS) model for MVDE BIM Coordinator to review prior to submit for approval
  • Prepare the necessary documents for submission purposed including converting model to 2D.
  • Prepare the OVERHEAD CATENARY SYSTEM (OCS) model for TRW & OCS BIM
  • Coordinator upload to ProjectWise under WIP/ Shared prior to review by TRW & OCS Manager
  • Update TRW & OCS BIM Coordinator or BIM manager about the work progress
Profile

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Management

Desired Knowledge / Expérience

  • At least 3 years' experience in BIM Modelling and
  • Experience using Autodesk RevIt, Civil 3D.
  • Good level of English
  • Knowledge of Railway Subsystem/ Civil and Structures/ Electrical & Mechanical (E&M)
  • Knowledge in BIM Process
  • Independence and ability to work in a team.
  • Conscientious and rigorous in his work
  • comprehension of parametric object-based models, design, engineering/construction models
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge in Bentley OpenRail Designer (ORD) will have an added advantage.
