Job summary

We are seeking a talented and versatile Creative Writer with a proven ability to craft compelling and impactful narratives across various media. The ideal candidate has experience developing engaging scripts for video and audio content, as well as producing high-quality written content for digital marketing channels. This role requires a strong understanding of how to tailor messages to different audiences and platforms, ensuring brand consistency and strategic goals are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Scriptwriting: Develop, write, and revise scripts for a variety of media, including explainer videos, commercials, corporate videos, and podcasts.
  • Content creation: Produce a wide range of written content, such as blog posts, website copy, social media posts, email newsletters, and articles.
  • Content strategy: Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with marketing teams to generate new content ideas that align with brand messaging and business objectives.
  • Research: Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and compelling.
  • Editing and optimization: Edit and proofread all content to ensure it is error-free, follows brand guidelines, and is optimized for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and marketing managers to revise and refine content based on feedback.
  • Project management: Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple content projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing workload.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a script writer and content writer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful projects.
  • Storytelling skills: A creative and imaginative mind with an ability to tell compelling stories through both visual media and written prose.
  • Writing proficiency: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with impeccable grammar and a keen eye for detail.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt writing style and tone to suit different audiences and formats while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Technical knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and an understanding of SEO principles are required for digital content.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and take constructive feedback.
