Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Associate to join our company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting works.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by analyzing historical data and market trends.
  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for decision-making purposes.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation and answering inquiries.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in financial legislation that may impact the organization.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of the Accounting Cycle, and journal entries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of professional accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office Applications to create documents and reports, etc.
  • General understanding on financial compliance with SEC, LGU, SSS, PHILHEALTH, HDMF
  • Analytical, meticulous, self-motivated, hands on and the ability to work independently
