Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Junior Accountant. The Junior Accountant will support the Finance team in ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting operations. The role involves assisting in the preparation of financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, processing invoices, and documenting financial transactions.

You'll be working closely with a startup finance team that's building systems from the ground up — which means your insights, initiative, and adaptability will directly shape how we scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements and reports
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements
  • Process invoices, vouchers, and expense reimbursements accurately and promptly
  • Support financial audits, tax compliance, and ad hoc analysis
  • Help improve accounting workflows and documentation as the team grows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with operational needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping;
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation;
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks;
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A quick learner who can adapt to new tools, systems, and processes;
  • Driven by excellence, with a genuine interest in continuous learning and improvement;
