Reporting to: Receiving Manager

Target of the position:

  • Assist the Receiving Manager in executing the company's Receiving policies and procedure, and ensures that all incoming goods are properly checked and inspected.

Specific Powers and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts quality inspection to ensure all items are in good condition, the correctness of quantity received, description, PLU, bar code, weight, temperature (for frozen items), and expiry date prior to receiving.
  • Coordinates with RPM for any receiving discrepancies, wrong UOM based on EBT/grammage, and changes in packaging which are not indicated on the memo released by RPM.
  • Responsible for the encoding and printing of GRS (Goods Receiving Sheet) per invoice and have it endorsed to RPM as a matching reference.
  • Ensures to receive delivery of goods that complies with the standards of the company – strictly following the receiving policy and procedure.
  • Maintains a high standard of housekeeping in the receiving area to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all personnel.
  • Ensures all drivers and helpers follow all safety and health rules and regulations, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment while unloading.
  • Reports any unsafe acts/conditions and any incident involving vendor trucks, drivers, and helpers to the Receiving Manager.
  • Executes additional tasks he is asked to do by the Immediate Superior.

Job Qualifications:

  • Male or Female
  • at least College level
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Knowledge on computer and in using MS office (excel, word)
  • Organized and can work under minimum supervision.
  • Lives within Sucat, Taguig and Pasay areas.
