The Inventory Staff is responsible for managing the hotel's inventory, ensuring proper storage and issuance of supplies, and maintaining accurate stock records. They oversee the receipt, inspection, and distribution of goods while ensuring compliance with hotel standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, inventory movements, and requisitions.
  • Organize and store goods properly to ensure easy accessibility and prevent damage.
  • Issue supplies to departments as per approved requests.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies to the management.
  • Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and cleanliness of storage areas.
  • Follow hotel policies on stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out) and waste control.
  • Work closely with procurement and finance teams to manage inventory costs efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in inventory management is a plus.
  • Experience in hotel or hospitality storekeeping is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory control software and MS Office.
  • Ability to lift and handle stock as required.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
