About the role

As a Truck Checker at Basic Hauling and Logistic Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods. This full-time position is based in Antipolo City, Rizal, where you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting and monitoring the company's fleet of trucks to maintain operations and deliver exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify any issues or damage
  2. Coordinating with drivers to ensure proper documentation and timely reporting of any concerns
  3. Monitoring the loading and unloading of goods to maintain inventory accuracy and safe handling
  4. Liaising with the logistics team to optimise truck utilisation and route planning
  5. Maintaining detailed records of all inspections, maintenance, and repair activities
  6. Assisting in the implementation of safety protocols and procedures
  7. Providing support to the wider warehousing and distribution operations as required

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar truck checking or logistics role
  2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with drivers and the logistics team
  4. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and safety regulations
  5. Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for record keeping and reporting
  6. A valid driver's license and willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed
