We are looking for a skilled Rust Developer with hands-on experience building on the Solana blockchain to join our growing Web3 engineering team. As a Rust Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying smart contracts (Solana programs) and integrating them into our decentralized applications (dApps). You will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and blockchain architects to build secure and scalable blockchain solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts using Rust for the Solana blockchain.
  • Architect and implement core backend logic for our DApp, ensuring scalability and security.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and blockchain engineers to integrate smart contracts with user-facing components.
  • Write comprehensive tests and documentation for smart contracts and Rust modules.
  • Optimize performance and gas efficiency of on-chain programs.

Role Description

  • Strong proficiency in Rust with hands-on experience in systems programming or blockchain development.
  • Solid understanding of Solana's architecture, including accounts, programs, and runtime.
  • Experience with Solana development tools like Anchor, Solana CLI, and Solana SDK.
  • Familiarity with Web3 concepts: Stablecoins, wallets, transactions, token standards (SPL), and DeFi protocols.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in smart contract development.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects.
  • Familiarity with other blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Cosmos).
  • Understanding of front-end integration using JavaScript/TypeScript and Solana wallet adapters.
  • Prior experience with Anchor framework and Serum or Metaplex protocols.
