Cybersecurity Senior Engineer
for one of our clients based in Philippines a
full-time opportunity and Hybrid setup in Metro Manila.

Role
:
Cybersecurity Senior Engineer (Application Security Management)

Skills
: experience in application security, vulnerability management, penetration testing, or ethical hacking. Familiarity with any cybersecurity frameworks (OWASP 10, NIST 800, NIST CSF, Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK)

Shift schedule:
Regular. Flexibility is expected for the selected candidate when needed

Experience:
3 years of experience in application security, Cybersecurity

Location: Manila

Setup –
Hybrid, 2Xweek RTO

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in application security, vulnerability management, penetration testing, or ethical hacking
  • Familiarity with any cybersecurity frameworks (OWASP 10, NIST 800, NIST CSF, Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Hands-on experience with any tools such as Burp suite, Metasploit, Nessus, NMAP, Open VAS, Qualys, Rapid7 Insight VM, Tenable
  • Experience in using Python programming language and familiarity with secure coding practices and common development frameworks
  • Strong understanding of application architectures, APIs, authentication mechanisms, and encryption protocols
  • Proficiency in vulnerability management platforms and SIEM tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business impact
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, security, and compliance
  • Relevant certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a huge plus
