Job Highlights

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible 20 hrs per week ideally 9am - 5pm Sydney
Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Standard Time (Sydney/Melbourne)


Responsibilities

  • Create social media content for Instagram and other platforms using existing brand assets, logos, and colors
  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to build online presence
  • Perform basic graphic design tasks to create posts, ads, and promotional materials
  • Edit videos using simple tools like CapCut for social media content
  • Assist with Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaign management
  • Help with website updates and landing page optimization
  • Support SEO optimization and performance strategies
  • Conduct lead generation research and data verification from Instagram followers
  • Research potential clients by finding contact information from social media profiles
  • Collaborate with the founding team to understand the construction estimating software product

Scopes

  • Focus primarily on social media marketing and content creation with expansion into other digital marketing areas
  • Work closely with construction industry founder who has deep product knowledge
  • Opportunity to grow role and responsibilities as the startup scales
  • Potential for lead generation and sales support activities as business develops
  • Integration as core team member rather than project-based contractor relationship
Requirements
  • Experience in digital marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology sectors
  • Strong English communication skills for clear collaboration with Australian team
  • Proficiency in social media marketing and content creation
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools
  • Experience with video editing using simple tools
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and Facebook Ads platforms
  • Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization
  • Ability to conduct online research and data verification
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal micromanagement
  • Available to work part-time (20 hours per week minimum) with some overlap during Australian business hours
