COMPANY: UNITED PHILIPPINE LINES (UPL)

• Management Representative
• Represents management in the implementation of the QMS *Compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Standards, customers' requirements, addressing complaints (external and internal stakeholders).
• Coordinates the continued continual improvement development of the quality management system and assumes responsibility for on-going system review maintenance and assessment for the effectiveness of operation.
• Acts a go-between management and the workforce in so far as continual improvement and quality service is concerned.
• Ensures that company third party certification and accreditations (ISO 9001:2015)/ principal accreditations/ government accreditations are obtained and maintained.
• Acts as representative of the organization to external certifying bodies.
• Controls and maintains the company audit and risk assessment schedule.
• Ensures the communication of the Context of the Organization to all stakeholders.
• Ongoing duties include reporting on how well the QMS is working and where it is not. The kinds of information to be reported will include things listed under Management Review (The actual data collection and analysis may well be done by someone else, e.g. the process owner).

• Supplier data establishing process trends = "KPS's
• Ensures that the focus of the organization remains on the customer.
• This can mean training, induction for new hires, updating policies, sharing customer feedback, etc.
• Internal Auditor
• Acts as Lead Internal Auditor during internal quality audits.
• Conducts quality system compliance audits.
• Trainer
• Trains all company personnel in the documented company policies
• Ensures personnel have received appropriate training and are assessed as competent to perform tasks
• Training of Internal Quality Auditors
• Leads the Training Team
• Documents and Data Control
• Maintains the company library of compliance resources including the Quality Manuals.
• Identifies relevant administrative and legislative requirements relative to the Manning Industry
• Ensures all company policies, procedures and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner in line with ISO 9001:2015 version.
• Prepares and submits monthly management reports relating to company systems, compliance and incidents.
• Data Collection
• Performs other duties which may be assigned by the department head.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
• Proven ability to lead internal audits, manage compliance processes, and coordinate with external certifying bodies
• Strong background in documentation control, data analysis, and continuous process improvement
• Experience in delivering training programs, including QMS orientation and auditor training
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to serve as liaison between management, workforce, and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills for handling audit findings, customer feedback, and risk assessments
• Ability to develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and compliance systems within the manning or similar regulated industry
