Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with strong expertise in formwork and concrete construction. The role requires deep technical knowledge of various formwork systems, as the candidate will be evaluated in detail on their understanding during the interview process. The primary responsibility is to analyze plans and drawings to identify all areas requiring formwork and prepare accurate material quantity take-offs, including concrete, rebar, wood, anchors, and other related items.

Job Details:

  • Work From Home
  • Monday to Friday | 7 PM – 4 AM (Manila time), flexibility is required depending on the needs of the client
  • Following Canadian Holidays

Responsibilities:


• Review architectural and structural drawings to identify all formwork requirements.


• Prepare detailed and accurate quantity take-offs for concrete, reinforcement steel, lumber, anchors, and related materials.


• Develop cost estimates and support preparation of bids and tender submissions.


• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to clarify project requirements and resolve discrepancies.


• Update estimates as design changes occur and maintain organized estimating records.


• Participate in internal project reviews and contribute to cost optimization strategies.


• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all estimating deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of solid experience as an Estimator and/or Quantity Surveyor in formwork or concrete construction.

• Strong technical expertise in formwork systems


• Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing review and measurement.


• Experience with at least one estimating software: PlanSwift, Procore, or Bluebeam.


• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with a high level of accuracy.


• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and mathematical accuracy.


• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

• Proficient in MS Office, including:

  • Outlook 365
  • Microsoft Teams
  • OneDrive
