Overview

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain strong client relationships. This role oversees daily sales operations, monitors performance, provides coaching and training, and ensures proper implementation of company sales strategies and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, motivate, and guide the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets. Identify new markets, leads, and opportunities for business growth.
  • Monitor daily sales activities and ensure proper coverage of assigned areas or accounts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and action plans.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in setting monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance evaluations for sales staff.
  • Build and maintain good customer relationships, resolve concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with marketing, finance, and operations teams for smooth sales processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing, and standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries, negotiations, and key account management when necessary.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply/logistics for product availability.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, events, and market-related activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Background in the same industry is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office or sales-related software
  • Willingness to travel or fieldwork, if required
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Professional, proactive, and with a positive attitude
