Job Summary

The role is key for ensuring the smooth registration and switching of customers under the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) framework of the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM).

This position requires close coordination with customers, the Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP), and Distribution Utilities (DUs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely execution of customer switching, enrollment, and billing setup processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Switching and Registration

  2. Manage end-to-end customer switching processes in accordance with RCOA and IEMOP guidelines.

  3. Prepare and submit complete registration documents to IEMOP, ERC, and Distribution Utilities.
  4. Monitor registration milestones and ensure timely completion of switching schedules.

  5. Maintain updated records of customer switching status and supporting documentation.

  6. Customer Data Management

  7. Encode, verify, and maintain customer information in internal databases and reporting systems.

  8. Coordination and Communication

  9. Liaise with IEMOP, Distribution Utilities, and the customer to address switching-related issues or clarifications.

  10. Provide timely updates to internal teams (Sales, Billing, Trading) on the registration progress and effective dates.
  11. Support customer onboarding by explaining switching timelines, requirements, and retail supply arrangements.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in the WESM and/or electric power industry is a plus, open for fresh graduate
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; customer-service mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
