JOB PURPOSE:

To prepare and receives orders as well as moves, stocks, scans and records product inventory.Can work internally for a company or outside company to help ensure the delivery of products to customers or businesses.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assisting and receiving by unloading and checking in products or materials.
  • Preparing orders by processing requests, pulling orders, packing boxes and transporting packages to the shipping area.
  • Sorting and placing warehouse items, as directed by organizational standards.
  • Maintaining inventory controls.
  • Preparing packages for mailing.
  • Ensuring clean and safe working environment.
  • Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping
  • Receiving and documenting material and accessories for delivery or return.
  • Keeping an inventory of all raw materials and accessories entering or exiting the warehouse.
  • Identifying any missing, lost or damaged raw materials and accessories and immediately notify the supervisor.
  • Ensuring that all the raw materials and accessories is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
  • Managing all raw material and accessories with appropriate care.
  • Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
  • Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Proven experience as Warehouse Assistant is advantage but fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Sound knowledge of standard warehouse practices.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented
