Job Summary

The Technical Services Section Manager provides strategic and technical leadership to optimize warehouse operations and logistics infrastructure. This role manages third-party logistics (3PL) and warehouse contracts, leads negotiations with service providers, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage logistics-related contracts, including 3PL, warehouse lease, and transportation agreements.
  • Develop and implement contract management frameworks and performance monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Procurement teams to ensure favorable contract terms and mitigate operational risks.
  • Conduct vendor performance evaluations and recommend improvement or corrective measures as needed.
  • Lead negotiations with logistics partners and suppliers to achieve cost-efficient and service-effective outcomes.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Standardize and document warehouse and logistics operating procedures and audit for compliance.
  • Support warehouse design, layout planning, and capacity expansion to meet business growth requirements.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics management, or technical services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong background in contract management, vendor relations, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms.

Work Setup

  • On-site role, based in Pasig City, Metro Manila.
  • Monday to Friday, regular office hours.
