Customer Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Customer Support Specialist to support our healthcare operations team with patient intake, follow-ups, and communication management. This role involves regular interaction with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies through inbound and outbound calls. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and prior experience working in a healthcare or mental health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to patients, providers, and insurance companies for follow-ups, verifications, and coordination.
- Handle inbound calls from patients or providers, addressing queries and routing information appropriately.
- Manage patient intake processes, including data entry, documentation, and follow-up scheduling.
- Update and maintain accurate records in company databases and healthcare systems.
- Assist with insurance-related coordination, including eligibility checks and claims follow-up.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity at all times.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Virtual Assistant, Customer Support Specialist, Administrative Coordinator, or in a Healthcare Support role.
- Experience working in or supporting mental health practices is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Comfortable handling outbound and inbound calls in a professional manner.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace and other virtual communication tools.
- Ability to work remotely during US hours (CST), Tuesday to Saturday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
