Job Summary:

The Security Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees, and company property. This role involves managing the security team, enforcing security policies and procedures, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Supervise and train security personnel to ensure professional conduct and high performance.
  • Monitor and manage daily security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, and incident response.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
  • Lead investigations into thefts, accidents, disturbances, or other security breaches and prepare detailed incident reports.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and regulatory authorities when necessary.
  • Oversee installation and maintenance of security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarms, and access control devices.
  • Plan and conduct safety drills, emergency response training, and security awareness sessions.
  • Prepare and manage the security budget, including manpower, equipment, and training costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of security activities, reports, and personnel records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, or related field preferred.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in security operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of security systems, surveillance technologies, and emergency response procedures.
  • Experience in coordinating with law enforcement or government agencies is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and able to respond effectively during emergencies.
  • Holder of a valid security license (if required by local regulations).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and readiness to respond to emergencies.
  • May involve shift work and on-call duties.
