Warehouse Admin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receiving of incoming shipments of furniture products, components, and materials, ensuring timely and accurate processing according to established procedures.
  • Communicate with suppliers, freight carriers, and logistics partners to schedule deliveries, coordinate arrival times, and resolve any shipping-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments, including packing lists, bills of lading, and delivery receipts, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and organized for reference.
  • Input receiving data into the inventory management system and update inventory records to reflect incoming stock levels accurately.
  • Assist the quality control team in inspecting incoming shipments for damages, discrepancies, or quality issues, documenting findings and communicating any issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers or vendors to address any discrepancies or issues identified during the inspection process.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels by accurately recording incoming stock quantities, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory records in the system.
  • Collaborate with the inventory control team to conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Serve as a liaison between warehouse staff, purchasing department, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and coordination of incoming goods activities.
  • Provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders regarding incoming shipments, delivery schedules, and any issues or delays affecting the receiving process.
  • Provide general administrative support to the warehouse team, including filing, data entry, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries related to incoming goods.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed to support warehouse operations and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
