We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking
Senior Technical Manager
to lead our growing technical team. This role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic insight to drive solution excellence across MEC's product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage MEC's technical engineering and solutions team, ensuring effective delivery of design, deployment, and support across all technology verticals.
  • Develop and implement solution architectures that integrate MEC's portfolio in cybersecurity, networking, structured cabling, physical security, wireless, servers, and storage.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction for both pre-sales and post-sales engagements, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with vendor principals and channel partners to design and deliver innovative, scalable, and secure IT solutions.
  • Support business development and sales initiatives through technical presentations, proof-of-concept deployments, and solution demonstrations.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with best practices and compliance standards.
  • Drive partner enablement and internal training programs to enhance technical competencies and promote MEC's solutions portfolio.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and product innovations to strengthen MEC's market offerings.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including proposals, architecture diagrams, and configuration standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system integration, or technical solution engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or AVP-level role within an IT distribution or system integrator environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in:
  • Networking and cybersecurity (firewalls, routers, switches, SIEM, endpoint security)
  • Structured cabling and physical security systems (CCTV, access control, data center cabling)
  • Wireless, servers, and storage architectures
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, MCSE, PMP are an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage senior stakeholders.
